These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made from Stephanie Geyl Pottery via this website.
1. About the work
Each piece is made by hand in small batches, with care and attention to detail.
All pieces are handmade ceramics. Due to the nature of the process:
Each item is unique
Variations in colour, shape and finish are part of the character of the work
Measurements are approximate
By purchasing, you acknowledge and accept these natural variations.
2. Orders
All orders are subject to availability and confirmation.
Once an order is placed, you will receive confirmation via email. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse an order if necessary (for example, due to stock or pricing errors).
3. Pricing
All prices are listed in GBP (£) and include VAT (if applicable).
Delivery costs will be added at checkout.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but this will not affect orders already placed.
4. Payment
Payment must be made in full at the time of purchase via the available payment methods on the website.
5. Commissions & Lead Times
Commissioned pieces are made to order and require a lead time of approximately 4–8 weeks, depending on the nature of the work and current studio schedule.
Timescales are provided as a guide and may vary slightly due to the handmade process. Any changes or delays will be communicated where possible.
6. Shipping
Orders will be carefully packaged and dispatched within a reasonable timeframe (typically stated on the product page or confirmed after purchase).
Delivery times may vary depending on location and courier.
We are not responsible for delays caused by postal or courier services.
7. Returns & refunds
Due to the handmade nature of the work, all sales are generally non-refundable.
However, if your item arrives:
Damaged
Faulty
Please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photographs, and we will arrange a replacement or refund where appropriate.
We do not accept returns for:
Change of mind
Minor variations in appearance
8. Care of ceramics
All items are dishwasher and oven-safe.
Ceramics should be handled with care.
Stephanie Geyl is not responsible for damage caused by misuse or improper care.
9. Intellectual property
All designs, images and content on this website are the property of Stephanie Geyl Pottery and are protected by copyright.
They may not be reproduced, copied or used without permission.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our products or website.
11. Governing law
